Difference between wired and wireless anti-theft alarm

What is the difference between wired and wireless anti-theft alarm?

1. Anti interference ability. Compared with wired anti-theft alarm, wireless alarm products are more vulnerable to high-frequency interference or other effects, resulting in false alarm and missing alarm. Some wireless alarms will cause an alarm when using a mobile phone at a distance of about one meter.

2. Non professional installation, poor damage prevention ability. Almost all wired professional alarm hosts adopt the structure of separating the host and keyboard. The host adopts metal chassis and is equipped with chassis anti disassembly or overall anti disassembly function. During installation, the host is generally recommended to be installed in a concealed way, except that the keyboard can be installed in a more conspicuous place, and the keyboard also has the function of anti disassembly. This structure can better prevent intruders from damaging the host. Almost all wireless alarm hosts are integrated with the host and keyboard (some have no keyboard). They adopt plastic shell, and the appearance design is more beautiful. They are generally installed in a more prominent position. This structure is very easy to be damaged by intruders. Moreover, most wireless hosts use standard connector wiring. Intruders can stop the alarm as long as they unplug the telephone line and the alarm line.

3. The same frequency interference problem is the fatal weakness of the wireless anti-theft alarm system. As long as you press and hold the button of the same remote controller, the alarm host cannot receive the communication information from the detector due to the same frequency interference, and the whole system will be invalid. For this problem, some manufacturers adopt the method of interference identification and alarm, that is, when the host system detects the signal with long-term continuous interference, it is identified as someone deliberately interferes and sends an alarm, although this method can solve the problem of malicious interference to a certain extent. But generally, the time to identify interference is more than 30 seconds. This time is enough to destroy the host.

4. Confidentiality. At present, most domestic wireless hosts use 2262 remote control chip, and the code system is 8-bit 3-ary, with a total of more than 6000 codes. The probability of repeated codes is relatively high, especially in the case of large number of cell application users, there is no doubt that the possibility of repeated codes is greatly increased. This code system is also easy to crack by scanning code. Security is also poor.

5. Trigger delay: in order to save power, most wireless detectors adopt trigger delay technology, that is, they will not trigger again within the time after one trigger. This delay is generally 2-4 minutes. As long as the intruder interferes with the first trigger, there will be enough time to destroy the host.

The wired and wireless alarm equipment described above have their own advantages and disadvantages, but now the wireless system is a new technology, which is certainly a trend, but most users still use wired alarm. In order to occupy the market in the future, wireless anti-theft alarm needs refueling efforts in signal interference and distance transmission. The installation of wired transmission after decoration is difficult. Of course, at present, some manufacturers have begun to develop invisible generic cabling system, which can be applied to the system composed of various types of security products.
